Dundalk Ice Hockey Club

Im back in Ireland again. I didnt even post once during my time in Vancouver. Didnt feel like it really, plus it left me more room to talk about things when I got back here and bored out of my mind while recovering from jet lag ( like right now).

Its 5am in the morning at the moment, and I cant sleep. Junks. Also need to get a post in for January, otherwise ill screw up my winning streak of posting at least once every month since this thing started. Not quite Cal Ripken, but you gotta have some sort of standards.

So the Canucks went 10-1-1.. while I was in Vancouver... and then the DAY I leave... they go ahead and lose to the ECHL team otherwise known as the LA Kings... like whatthefack? The LA Kings right now has a Japanese dude and a 40 year old dehydrated geezer as their goalie tandem. And they beat the Canucks. Just goes to prove, I am the only reason why they were any good. With me away from Vancouver now, good luck... but I hope Im wrong.

And speaking of Hockey, I played full equipment hockey for the first time in Comox with Wayne and had a sweet time. I couldnt do shit all, obviously, since I dont know how to skate, but I got a shot on goal. That was a miracle in itself. If I scored, I would pulled a Tiger Williams and rode my stick like a horse... and then thrown up my gloves and shot at them with my stick like duck hunt. Didnt happen though... oh well.

This did get me pumped up for the Dundalk Ice Hockey Club starting up... I went skating today, first day back. So surprised though because there were a few irish punks who were awesome at skating... littl shits. Piss me off... I have no idea where they learned to skate around these parts... this rink is the only one in Ireland... south of the border that is.. so unless they are up in Belfast alot.. or lived in Canada or the States awhile, I dont see how they got so hockey good. Personally Im so chocked that some Irish kid can skate better than me. What made me feel better though was my camoflage blade covers.

So anyways, it was good seeing everyone again while I was in Vancouver.. or for some of you, not see you again...

Hanoy Park,

Glad you had fun playing hockey when you were here. We'll have to do that again when your back this Christmas. Take care.
